Onyx Privacy Policy

1. Data controller

Siamtak Company Limited, 66 Moo 2, Bang Khu Wiang Subdistrict, Bang Kruai District, Nonthaburi 11130, Thailand, telephone 02-984-1680, provides Onyx and is the data controller under the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019).

2. Users

Onyx is used only by the company's employees, for work communication.

3. Data collected

• Account data: SCOP username, nickname, team and position.
• Content sent in Onyx: messages, photos, videos, files, voice messages and acknowledgements of notices.
• Call data: caller, recipient, time and duration. Calls are not recorded.
• Device and usage data: device name, app version, IP address, sign-in times and the notification token.

4. Purposes

Work communication between employees, security of the system, and the company's work records.

5. Access by the company

Messages in Onyx are not end-to-end encrypted. The company keeps a copy of every message, photo and file, including messages the sender unsends within one hour. Only persons named by the company's management may open the copy, and every access is logged with who, what and when.

6. Storage and notifications

Data is stored on the company's servers in Thailand and backed up in encrypted form. Phone notifications pass through Apple and Google services and carry only a reference code, never message text; the app fetches the content from the company's own server.

7. Disclosure

Onyx contains no advertising and no third-party analytics. The company does not sell or disclose the data to third parties except where required by law.

8. Retention

Data in Onyx forms part of the company's work records and is kept without a set deletion date. When an employee leaves, the account is closed; the messages already sent remain part of the company's records.

9. Rights of the data subject

Employees may request access to and a copy of their data, correction of inaccurate data, and objection to or restriction of its use as provided by law, by contacting the company at 02-984-1680 or at the address above, and may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee.

10. Changes

The company may update this policy and will announce changes in Onyx before they take effect.
